Executive Coaching
Executive Coaching for senior leaders navigating complexity, responsibility and change.
This one-to-one professional Coaching process is designed for senior leaders whose roles involve complex decisions, significant responsibility and multiple stakeholder relationships.
The work creates structured space to examine leadership choices, priorities and relationships. It is distinct from training or consulting. The Coach does not prescribe decisions or provide ready-made solutions.
At Vira Human Training, the process connects the leader’s role, professional identity, organizational context and actions. The aim is greater clarity, awareness and accountability.
What the work can focus on
Who It’s For
This path is designed for:
- C-Level executives and senior leaders
- Senior directors with broad or cross-functional responsibilities
- Business owners and founders operating in complex organizational contexts
- Leaders moving into expanded roles or new levels of responsibility
- Executives navigating organizational change, succession or evolving governance
How the process works
The process begins by clarifying the leadership context and the purpose of the engagement. Roles and responsibilities are agreed from the outset.
A typical engagement includes:
- an initial conversation to understand context, role and objectives;
- one-to-one Coaching sessions with a professional Coach;
- goals agreed with the executive and, where relevant, an organizational sponsor;
- clear confidentiality and information-sharing boundaries;
- periodic review of progress against the agreed Coaching objectives.
The content of Coaching conversations remains confidential. If the organization sponsors the engagement, any review process is agreed in advance. Reviews remain limited to appropriate objectives, progress or process information.
Individual or organization-wide Coaching?
This service is centered on the context, responsibilities and development of an individual senior leader.
When the need involves several leaders, teams or organizational levels within one coordinated initiative, Corporate Coaching may be the more appropriate format.
Both can form part of a broader Coaching for Organizations strategy.
What this service is not
It is not executive training, management consulting or a confidential reporting channel for the organization.
A Coach facilitates reflection, awareness, decision-making and accountability. When advisory, assessment or training services are needed, they should be clearly distinguished from the Coaching process.
Frequently asked questions
Who is it for?
It is designed for senior leaders, executives, business owners and directors whose roles involve significant responsibility, complex decisions or major organizational transitions.
Can the engagement be sponsored by an organization?
Yes. The organization may sponsor the engagement and clarify its purpose. The Coaching relationship itself remains centered on the executive, with explicit agreements about objectives, confidentiality and any progress review.
Is the process confidential?
Confidentiality is a core part of the Coaching relationship. Where a sponsor is involved, boundaries around what can and cannot be shared should be agreed before the engagement begins.
How is it different from leadership training?
Training generally teaches defined knowledge or skills. Executive Coaching is an individualized reflective process built around the leader’s own context, choices, goals and responsibilities.
