  • Key Coaching models and theoretical frameworks
  • Distinctions between Coaching and other professional practices
  • ICF Standards, Vision, Mission, and Core Values
  • The professional role and responsibilities of the Coach

MODULE 2 – Coaching Mindset

The inner posture of a Coach

  • What a Coaching mindset is and why it matters
  • Self-awareness as the foundation of the Coaching journey
  • From awareness to conscious choice and responsibility
  • Trust, autonomy, and the Coach’s inner alignment
  • Reflective practice, emotional regulation, and well-being

In this module, participants explore how self-awareness underpins every effective Coaching practice and the professional identity of the Coach. Through reflective practices they strengthen presence, emotional regulation, and the ability to engage clients with clarity and non-judgment.

Participants begin to understand that Coaching mastery starts from within and is sustained through conscious choice, responsibility, trust, and ongoing self-observation.

MODULE 3 – Coaching Agreement

Creating clarity, structure, and shared direction with the client.

  • The Coaching Agreement
  • A systemic approach to defining focus, goals, and desired outcomes
  • Managing the Coaching process: focus, flow, and continuity

In this module, participants learn how to structure a Coaching session and how to establish clear and effective Coaching Agreements in alignment with ICF standards.

The module supports the development of clarity, psychological safety, accountability, and a shared understanding of the purpose, direction, and outcomes of the Coaching work.

MODULE 4 – Active Listening: Values, Beliefs and Purpose

Listening as the Core of the Coach’s Professional Identity

  • Distinguishing active listening from simply hearing words
  • Listening for values, beliefs, and meaning beyond surface content
  • Listening to emotions, energy, silence, and what remains unspoke
  • Maintaining presence without judgment, interpretation, or personal agenda
  • Allowing insight and awareness to emerge beyond the Coach’s questions

Active listening is central to the professional identity of a Coach.
It goes beyond receiving information and involves being fully present with the client, attuned to meaning, emotion, and intention, and open to what is unfolding in the moment.

In this module, participants learn to listen deeply – to words, emotions, silence, and underlying patterns – recognizing beliefs, assumptions, and drivers of behavior, and supporting clients in accessing greater clarity and awareness.

MODULE 5 – Coaching Skills

Building fluency in the essential abilities of a Professional Coach.

  • The ICF Core Competency Model
  • Core professional Coaching skills and their integration in practice
  • Facilitating awareness, responsibility, and client autonomy
  • Supporting action, accountability, and sustainable progress
  • Working with focus, flexibility, and ethical discernment
  • Developing professional judgment in real Coaching situations

Participants explore, practice, and progressively embody the core skills required to practice Coaching professionally following the ICF Core Competency Model. Through structured practice and feedback, they develop confidence in coaching with presence, adaptability, and ethical awareness.

Learning through practice, reflection, and shared observation

  • Structured feedback as a tool for learning and integration
  • Observation, reflection, and real-time learning
  • Mentor Coaching and supervised development

In this module, participants engage in structured peer-to-peer practice, alternating between the roles of Coach, client, and observer. This learning environment is designed as a safe and supportive space in which participants can practice repeatedly, observe Coaching in action, and integrate professional competencies through experience and reflection.

Through observation and structured feedback, participants strengthen self-awareness, professional judgment, and confidence in their Coaching practice, allowing participants to accumulate the mentoring hours required by ICF.
